To God Be The Glory (TGBTG)- Angels at a Glance
Mission & Vision
We aspire to one day see the world FREE of All cancers, heart disease, and preventable diseases. Although this may not happen during our generation, we are dedicated to addressing the human need for compassion, care, and dignity through research, resources, donations, and participation in as many activities as we can until such a time, when these problems have been resolved, managed, or cured completely.
"Therefore, I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when we pray, believe that ye receive them, ye shall have them". (Mark 11:24)

To God Be the Glory (TGBTG) - Angels, serve the needs of all cancer patients and support all families with tokens of love. We participate in and coordinate humanitarian walks,That include our Family Breast Cancer Walk at the Outer Banks (OBX) each year during our vacation /retreat. We conduct community service projects including handmade prayer shawls and quilts that we donate to our brothers, sisters, and family members who are survivors and supporters. We host a benefit dinner to raise donations to support our charities such as the American Cancer Society (ACS) and others. Each year, we invite two breast cancer survivors, on a FREE vacation to the Outer Banks, for a retreat. We are a Christian-based organization sent by God as "angels" to assist, support, and walk with those who have been battling health challenges.

Testimony
We are a spiritually guided organization that supports and serve the needs of all persons, wherever there is a need. My mom passed of Alzheimer's, and my dad passed as a result of heart disease and cancer. My Aunt Dorothy (my mom's baby sister) passed away from breast cancer. My son is a miracle from God, he had Astrocytoma (which was found through a yearly hearing test for children), a tumor was found on the brain stem at the age of nine. Surgery was done, the doctors removed a piece of the tumor, and it was benign. The diagnosis was that he had six months to live, he is now thirty-five years-old, blessed and highly favored, through Christ Jesus, Our Lord and savior.

This organization evolved from life experiences and losing family members who endured the ravage of Alzheimer's, Heart disease, Breast cancer, and other forms of cancer. To those of you who haven't figured it out, I AM A 10-year BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR. This is my testimony. This is what led to the birth of TGBTG-angels. For God is my ALL and ALL!

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, do you believe in MIRACLES?"
Prayer Shawl and Specialty Throw-size Quilts

Psalms 90:17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands.

To God Be the Glory (TGBTG) - Angels is a organization that operates through donations and community service. One method for doing this is accepting donation for our handmade shawls and quilts.

What Is a Prayer Shawl?
The prayer shawl has been traced back to an ancient Jewish tradition of men and women wearing handcrafted shawls for morning prayer services, on the Sabbath and on holidays. The prayer shawl represents a gift of love from the giver to the intended recipient. The purpose of the shawl includes the incorporation of support, concern, and/or a hug for the receiver.

Where Did It Begin?
The Prayer Shawl Ministry was established around 1998 by Janet Severi Bristow and Victoria Galo. Their idea was to weave love, hope, and peace through each stitch for those needing comfort. Shawls have been presented for graduations, birthdays, bridal/baby showers, medical procedures, and various other traditional and non-traditional milestones.

We are able to make quilts and shawls in many different colors and combinations of colors.
